COLONEL SPRINGS’ MINIATURE TRAIN

Colonel Elliott Springs
and one of his Spring Maids
are clad in clothes made of Springmaid sheets to display miniature train No. 45. Thanks to stripper, Gypsy Rose Lee, and advertising schemes that caught the public’s eye in the 1950’s, Col. Springs became a railfan whose tracks were closely followed.
