The Best Friend Train Museum is now open at 23 Ann Street, Charleston, directly behind the Charleston Visitor Center on Meeting Street.

The Best Friend Train Museum replaces the Best Friend of Charleston Train Museum that was operated under the direction of Curator, Mary Lehr and Directors, Peter Buhl and Pat Merriam, and Junior Director, Benjamin Ensley.

Please visit the museum to see the 1830 4-ton replica of the original Best Friend  of Charleston Train.
